Forget About Spaghetti Festival is ten nights of wild new performances presented by The Elysian in Los Angeles from October 20th to 30th. It’s timed right around our One Year Anniversary! Coincidence? We’ve programmed over 17 shows with artists who are doing something that’s a little scary, new, and perhaps not something you’d expect from them. It’s a mix of silly, poignant, experimental and ultra-ambitious performances.

This festival is a secondary launching pad to our VIP: Very In Progress programming series which supports and showcases both performers and performances in development. We believe the most fun shows to see are often not the ones in their most perfect state - we love a performance that is in development and figuring itself out. You can’t get a perfect show without taking chances and fucking up a lot along the way.

We’re tossing spaghetti against a wall to see what sticks. Some may not work, and that’s what’s exciting! We believe in these artists and we’re so pumped to be with them on the beginning journey of these shows and we cannot wait to see them up on The Elysian stage this October.

All artists are provided with development assistance including upfront funds, free workshops and additional promotional backing under the festival banner. Three shows from the festival will be selected by our audience and artistic team to return to The Elysian stage for a three-night run in 2023.
