Comedian Joe Kwaczala presents his first ever solo show, featuring stand-up, videos, music, and more. The goal? To push the idea of “a comic does his hour” to a different place. Why does that tradition rarely deviate from just one person telling jokes into a microphone? This show will have that, sure, but it’ll also have… a little extra.
Joe Kwaczala is a Los Angeles-based stand-up who started doing comedy in Chicago but grew up in Pittsburgh. His Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents half-hour special aired in 2019. He’s also known for releasing 31 videos in one day, a feat that garnered praise from Vulture and The A.V. Club. A select number of these sketches were compiled into a pilot called Kwaczala, which won “Best Late Night Series” at Seriesfest 2019 and was declared Funniest Show at Seriesfest by Paste Magazine. Recently, he did it AGAIN, this time releasing 21 videos in a day for the year ‘21.
