Trip Sitter is about Joey Z’s experience finding mental peace in cannabis and psychedelics after growing up with bipolar disorder. It features stand up, story telling, experimental music, psychedelic visuals, and an interactive game show. Part of Trip Sitter was derived from Joey’s variety event Glow Show which was nominated for best comedy event in Austin in ‘22 & ‘23 via the Austin Chronicle.

Joey Z has performed at Moontower JFL (4x), SXSW, Willie Nelson’s Cannabis Convention for the Luck Ranch, and has shared the stage with some of his favorite artists such as Reggie Watts and Danny Brown. Joey Z is also the creator of the variety event Glow Show which was called “a definite must see” by the Austin Chronicle. Joey is currently working on his dark comedy series Plant Guy which premiered last year at the Homerton Film Festival in east London. His podcast “Joey Division” with Joey Cook of Holy Wave can be found everywhere.

Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. Seats are assigned on a first come first served basis, from the front of the theatre to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier.
