Final Presentation: SAT 9/30 at 10:00 PM
“[ensemble name] is a new ensemble made of luminaries of the Los Angeles clown scene. Founded by Rachel Ho, one of the co-founders of Playspace, the pervading ethic of this ensemble is their anything-goes devising method, trademarked as the "3M Method": Multimedia, Movement and Music.
The real Elysian heads know about their cult-classic "Reflections on Titanic: Spring Break 1912" a late night show of madcap absurdism and musical theatricality in the face of that historic disaster. An obsession with catastrophe is the beating heart of their life-affirming comedy.
In this all new show, [ensemble name] are taking on a whole new subject matter: the American suburban TOWN. Devised from a series of improvised games, TOWN promises to provoke with its formal ingenuity coupled with [ensemble names] trademark 3M Method.”
