Old God is a foppish, irreverent oracle. A singer of doom and weaver of myth. A being so old, it has forgotten its own name. Exquisitely costumed and poised before a hand-painted canvas backdrop encircled by fancy golden foot lights, this white-faced clown seems to have pranced out of the theater houses of the 1800’s. Through virtuosic pantomime and improvisational feats of language, Old God rains down a frenetic hail of words and ideas that veer wildly from the absurd and scatological, to the poignant and the profound. This dormant comedic relic comes to The Elysian Theater in Los Angeles on October the 6th to revel in these—the Final Moments of Entertainment.
Old God is Alec Jones-Trujillo. Alec currently lives in Las Vegas where he plays the host of the hit show “Absinthe” at Caesar’s Palace. “Old God Vol 2” was directed by Gabe McKinney.
Doors at 7 PM, Show starts at 7:30 PM
Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. Seats are assigned on a first come first served basis, from the front of the theatre to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier.
Shows start no later than 10 MINUTES after the scheduled show time.
