As part of the Elysian's Edinburgh Percolator, join us for a one-hour VOICE WORKSHOP led by Nikki Hartung! Nikki will lead you through a vocal warmup and cool-down to help sustain vocal health through a multi-performance run. The workshop is geared toward those heading to the intense physical marathon that is the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, but useful for everyone in need of tools to strengthen and support your voice and breath in performance. FREE TO THE ELYSIAN COMMUNITY. All are welcome, but space is limited!
Please bring a yoga mat, water, and comfortable clothes.
NIKKI HARTUNG is a comedian/clown/actor/voice teacher. She taught voice for actors at the Identity School of Acting(London), voice for improvisers at iO (Chicago) and has taught her voice workshop (A Little Bit Louder Now) at multiple spots in Los Angeles, as well as doing private coachings in both Chicago and LA. She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in London on the MA Classical Acting course. After bringing her second solo show, Love, Pierre, to Edinburgh Fringe in 2022, she then took the show on tour with Gemma Soldati for their ‘Clowns in Towns Tour 2023’ where she also began developing a new show, Karey (previously The Lawn Show), which is headed to the Montreal Fringe this June. Nikki is passionate about helping comedians and clowns learn more about one of their best tools on stage, their voice! Acting/Voice over credits include: Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Allstate, Insperity Radio and Chicago Fire. Nikki is also an artistic swimmer for the Aqualillies.

Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime. Seats are assigned on a first come first served basis, from the front of the theatre to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier.
