Mother’s Milk is a variety show hosted by Eleanore Pienta. It asks its performers to do something they’ve never done before and do it full throttle, which leads to a night of excitement and discovery for both the audience and performers. Eleanore keeps the night moving with her audacious, YES AUDACIOUS, dance moves and absurdist humor. It’s a wildly fun show.

Eleanore Pienta is an award-winning screen and stage actor, comedian, dancer and filmmaker. (Gag me with a spoon, amiright?!) Weaving in and out of the independent film world, Pienta has carved out a niche for herself by portraying uncompromising and complex characters, her presence on screen is at once alluring albeit menacing. Pienta’s directorial debut, ADA, premiered at the New York Film Festival. Pienta can be found right at the center of her pieces, handling banal situations with deadpan humor and off-beat charm from within the eye of the storm. Hers is an anti-comedy where often times the target of the joke is Eleanore herself. Eleanore graces the NYC stages with her solo work and can be seen performing with her collaborators, Sunita Mani and Tallie Medel, as Cocoon Central Dance Team.

Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. Seats are assigned on a first come first served basis, from the front of the theatre to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier.
