MINOTAUR is a new play by Matthew Gasda-- dramatist, novelist, poet, and co-founder of The Brooklyn Center for Theatre Research (BCTR). Of his acclaimed underground hits such as DIMES SQUARE and ZOOMERS, Interview Magazine declared: "No contemporary, local playwright makes you squirm in your seat like Matt Gasda."
MINOTAUR made its premiere at Forgotten Works Studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn in June 2022.
This L.A. premiere is performed by Lily Lady (SAM'S WORLD), Bridey Elliott (CLARA'S GHOST, "SEARCH PARTY"), Anna Khaja ("HACKS", "THE GOOD PLACE"), Morgan Krantz ("GIRLS", "BETTER CALL SAUL"), and Chris Doubek ("EUPHORIA", BOYHOOD). Frank Mosley (FREELAND, CHAINED FOR LIFE) directs.
This is the second in a series of staged readings by the Los Angeles based collective REQUIRED READING. Proceeds from this performance at The Elysian Theater will go toward the Firefighter Fund as part of ARC (Anti-Recidivism Coalition).
