A VERY SPECIAL THREE NIGHT RUN!
After its sold out premiere at The Elysian’s Forget About Spaghetti Festival, we are thrilled to bring back LBJ: The Play for a special three night run!
In LBJ: The Play, a 5th grade teacher hires local performer Sunny Zimmerman to give a simple historical presentation as Lyndon B. Johnson. The only problem is, Sunny’s gone method. They’ve been living and breathing as Lyndon Johnson and LBJ has decided that this is his one chance to salvage his legacy - with an ambitious theatrical production. As his vision doesn't go according to plan, the boundaries between actor and role become increasingly blurred.
"Unfortunately we won't be able to formally support the play." - Actual Quote from LBJ Foundation/Presidential Library

Albert Muzquiz is a reluctant tiktoker and enthusiastic actor, grateful to be returning to the stage with this tremendous cast. His quixotic acting journey began in theatre High School and continued at Vassar College, where he did improv, sketch comedy, and some annoying Shakespeare. A history thesis on Levi’s Jeans sent him on a long tangent into the fashion world, where he now firmly resides. He loves this team almost as much as he loves pants, which is quite a lot. Albert can be found on Tiktok and Instagram @edgyalbert where he wears clothes and talks about them too.
Katie Davis is a comedian, performer, and writer originally from Savannah, GA. Katie first started working in comedy after moving to Nashville, TN for college. Katie performed and wrote for Belmont University’s sketch and improv group Fall Follies for two years before becoming director of the group in her third and final year. While in school, Katie worked at Third Coast Comedy Club as a performer in three of their house teams while simultaneously doing freelance film work in the production and casting departments. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2019, Katie has held assistant work in comedy development, writing, and production. She has performed comedy at The Elysian, The Yard Theatre, and to her iPhone camera
