This is one of our 2024 Spaghetti Festival mainstage shows! Be the first to see this great idea come to life onstage in the Elysian’s annual festival that showcases wild new works of daring and uncategorizable shows from emerging talent.
In the small town of Wobby-Sobby, everyone is a creature and nobody bats an eye, not even the bat-people. Tim Furman is an anxiety-ridden fur-person (a humanoid covered in hair) that enjoys TV dinners, sitting in the dark, and calculating ways to avoid contact with anything with a pulse. But when a grisly murder disrupts the balance in town, Tim finds himself thrust in the middle of a trial, serving as the foreperson of a jury tasked with a life-changing decision for a local creature. This unusual and original play explores the inner complexities of anxiety, fear, and the "humanity" in an inhuman world.
Featuring: Sam Walt Jones, Dani Colucci, Eve Lindley, Sydney Battle, Elizabeth Andrews, Ryan Asher, Isabella Gerasole, Damon Royster, Susan Glynn and Matt Olson
