Bonnie He is an Asian American actor, improvisor, award-winning clown and physical comedian, and Hello Kitty super fan. She was in the short film The New Empress with Maggie Gyllenhaal, on the Second City Hollywood house improv team, Excelsior!, and a staple at the monthly Upright Citizens Brigade show, Send in the Clowns.
Bonnie’s award-winning live, solo clown show A Terrible Show for Terrible People debuted internationally at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a total sell-out run. The show has previously won Fringiest Show at the 2023 Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest, Best Comedy at the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival and the Craziest Solo Show award at the 2019 Crazy Woke Asians Solo Performance Festival. Additionally, it has received the Scholarship Award, Best of Broadwater, and the Hollywood Producers’ Encore Award also at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Bonnie also received the Maverick Award for her solo work from the 2023 Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival. The Maverick Award is “presented to an artist or individual whose work has set a high standard of individuality and self-styled creativity.”
Bonnie is also a clowning instructor at East West Players, the nation’s premier Asian American theatre company. When she’s not clowning, Bonnie is fervently growing her Hello Kitty collection.

Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. Seats are assigned on a first come first served basis, from the front of the theatre to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier.
Shows start no later than 10 MINUTES after the scheduled show time.
