Creators of The Telephone Gospel

What is your show? The Telephone Gospel is a cabaret night of original work based on the childhood game of telephone, but with a TWIST! Instead of whispering the seed phrase from ear to ear, this ensemble cast of artists have created original pieces inspired by that word using their mediums of expertise.

What makes your show unique or unusual? Unlike a traditional variety show, there's a cohesive theme and each piece created was inspired by the piece right before it. Imagine a spiritual experience with a singular stain glass window. BLUE lights. Telephones EVERYWHERE. Light up VULVAS... where you can choose your own adventure. Need we say more?!

How confident are you that the audience will be able to figure out the original seed phrase? We are not confident at all. Which is why if all else fails, we intend to spoon feed the answer while having the entire audience cry twerk... obviously.

This show involves multi-discipline performance artists. What are all of the different expressions we can look forward to seeing? We're so thrilled to have all of these incredible artists on board for this silly show! We have Broadway performers choreographing original dance numbers, hilarious clown pieces, an experimental short film, some of the top sketch writers in the country, original composed music, an award winning poet, and one of the hottest drag performers on the scene right now. PLUS it's hosted by the most beautiful, slutty, prudish, awe-inspiring, creative, mysterious and statuesque people ever - VASTHY & GERI.

Describe your show in 5 words: Original + Kooky + Mind Blowing + Inspirational + Oscar/Grammy/Emmy Award-Winning
