High Concept Clash

*PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR ENTRY*

High-Concept Clash - it’s THREE SHOWS IN ONE! Three miniature experimental comedy shows go head-to-head.

LA’s most unique performers conceive of the craziest, most offbeat concepts, gimmicks or themes. With your applause YOU decide which show will be declared the winner and return for another episode, to face-off against two brand new mini-shows!

This Month:

SHOW 1: Business Casual Makes

Business Casual Makes is a 22-minute culinary experiment in which sketch trio Business Casual attempts to recreate some of the world's favorite treats. In this edition, watch as Business Casual sources and combines all 23 flavors of Dr. Pepper. Does their version have what it takes? You be the judge!

From Business Casual (Cory Peter Lane, Hunter Saling, Jeremy Elder)

SHOW 2: Funny You Should Ask with Irene Tu, Casey Ley and Kevin Camia

The secret to a great talkshow story? It’s already been written and tested! At Funny You Should Ask, comedians don’t have to stand up, they sit down on a nice comfortable couch and get an assist from hosts Jane Harrison and Aviva Siegel.

Hosted by Jane Harrison & Aviva Siegel

SHOW 3: Take That, Nerd! with Patrick Susmilch, Molly Kearney, Brodie Reed and James Fritz

Take That, Nerd! is Jeopardy-meets-Roast Battle, in a show that’s half trivia competition, half making fun of people who win trivia competitions. Contestants get points for answering questions in a variety of topics, but points can be stolen with quick-witted insults involving those same topics. Who will have the right mix of brains and burns to come out on top?

Hosted by Tyler Jackson

PLUS Commercials by Jessy Morner-Ritt & Max Beasley

Tyler Jackson is a standup from Los Angeles who has performed at SF Sketchfest, The Onion Comedy Arts Festival, and TruTV’s High Plains Comedy Festival. He is also co-host of the wildly bizarre comedy game show Late Late Breakfast.

Doors at 8:30 PM, Show starts at 9:00 PM

Seating begins 15 minutes before showtime, there is NO LATE SEATING. Seats are assigned on a first come first served basis, from the front of the theatre to the back. If you want to sit closer, be sure to arrive earlier.
