*SOLD OUT* Currents

We're back! Currents is a new performance series featuring a smattering of fresh one-act plays written in response to an ethically sticky current event. For our second installment, each piece reacts to the phenomenon of dead celebrities being resurrected by AI for silly corporate business. Specifically, Jimmy Stewart reading a Calm Sleep Story with the approval of his estate.

This installment includes short-and-punchy plays by Alix Bloom, Kaitlin Fontana, Eleanor Jean, Daniel Sweren-Becker, and ChatGPT4 -- with musical interludes by accordionist Erin Schneider.

The show features performances by Demi Adejuyigbe (Strange Planet, The Good Place), Annie Brennen, David Brown (Jury Duty), Jasmine Elist (Mr. Corman, Fresh Off the Boat), Wyatt Fair, Elena Heuzé (Netflix’s Heart Shot, Birth of a Beautiful Butch), Eleanor Jean, Tim Johnson (Instructor at the Groundlings Theater and School), Maya Kazan (Love Life, Mosaic, The Knick, Boardwalk Empire), Jessy Morner-Ritt (The John Gentle Show), Dan Pfau (American Crime Story, Curb Your Enthusiasm), Caitlin Stasey (SMILE, Class of '07), Quei Tann (How to Get Away With Murder, They/Them, American Horror Story), Alex Ullom (Please Make Sense), and Nate Varrone (The Bear).

This show is SOLD OUT. There will be a standby line at the door 30 min before showtime.
